Mindcraft is an annual exhibition from which we have learned to expect the unexpected, and for Mindcraft15 expectations are particularly high, having GamFratesi as curators and participants such as Louise Campbell, Cecilie Manz, benandsebastian, Henrik Vibskov and Eske Rex.

Stockholm Furniture Fair 2015, selected p.2: Greenhouse
Greenhouse is a separate space within the Stockholm Furniture Fair showcasing design school projects and up-and-coming designers, needless to say this is usually the most interesting place at the fair. All participants are selected by a jury, some of which have started out in the Greenhouse themselves, for example Jens Fager of this year’s jury. The stage for this year’s edition of the Greenhouse was designed by Note Design Studio.

Stockholm Furniture Fair 2015, selected highlights, p.1
The Stockholm Furniture Fair, the heart of Stockholm Design Week, is the premier venue, next to Milan, for Scandinavian and Nordic designers, producers and general agents to show off their goods. Although its mainly a trade show for big established brands it’s also a great place to spot emerging talents and small producers.

Following the previous post we feel we should say a few more words about the design duo Iskos-Berlin. Although the studio has only been around since 2010, founders Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos are veterans on the nordic design scene. Berlin co-founded, with Paul Christiansen, legendary Komplot Design studio in 1987 where also Iskos worked as an assistant.
